Hello Bleeping Computer,

I'm having an issue with my hard bulldoze I estimate which seems I can't get to work. Basically what is going on is this; I power on my estimator and information technology starts usually, until it reaches the Loading Windows screen with the windows logo, afterwards that I wait effectually 10 minutes+ and it just restarts on it's own.

And then what I idea to do is re-install windows which didn't seem to work neither. The installation process starts normally until I reach to the partitioning choice part. Nothing shows up there, hither is an image of the problem: http://i.imgur.com/Q9IPPK5.jpg . I tried some tutorials online only they don't seem to work, here is something I got on some forums and here are the results: http://i.imgur.com/MSEqMvg.jpg

And then I don't really know what to do, I've also read some stuff about some settings located at BIOS only I tin't find them. Here are some more than screenshots: http://imgur.com/a/fYSEX

My computer specs: http://scrap.ly/1y1QhN4 <- Redirects to HP website (Compaq Presario SR5611IT)

If I demand to provide whatsoever more than details or and then, just enquire me and I'll try to discover them :D

Thank's a lot :)

Have you lot tried to reset the bios to the factory default settings?

Before the calculator restarts, it'southward causing a BSOD. You have to prevent it from reboot.

Start your computer and press F8. Then select "Disable automatic restart on system failure".

What kind of BSOD did yous get?

Is all your information backed up?

In other words, I'd like to ostend that when you lot set out to brand a fresh install of Windows, you were resigned to the fact that it would wipe out all existing data.

If so, and so there are some things yous can try (depending on your resources) to make that hard drive function once more.

What kind of BSOD did you become?

I never got a BSOD it just flashes or something like that and reboots, Ok I'll effort that and I'll post it here if information technology works.

Pressing F8 usually will open the Advanced Boot Options, if this does open click on Concluding known good configuration.

Yeah I take tried that pick and cypher skilful from that.

Is all your data backed upward?

In other words, I'd like to confirm that when you set out to brand a fresh install of Windows, you were resigned to the fact that it would wipe out all existing data.

If then, then there are some things you can attempt (depending on your resources) to make that hard drive office over again.

I store my data on CD'south and DVD'south and they are mostly just projects. Well I'd like to know those ways :D

Thanks in accelerate.

At this time you lot don't know if this was the hdd or a problem with the operating organization.

I would suggest downloading a program like Darik's Boot and Nuke to overwrite the entire hdd.  This will exit y'all with a blank hdd to start with.

If you would like to take a tutorial for installing Windows 7, you lot can find a expert one a Windows Vii Forums.

It sounds like y'all already have a installation disc for Windows 7.  If this is non the case, allow me know the version of your Windows  Habitation premium, Pro. etc., and whether information technology's a 32-chip or 64-flake version and I will provide you with a link to a site where you lot can downwards load a ISO image which y'all can fire to a disc to create a bootable installation disc.

After you take created the disc and have the tutorial yous should exist able to install the operating system, every bit long every bit there isn't a trouble with the hdd.  If there is a problem with the hdd you are going to need all of this to install the operating system anyway.

Family and loved ones volition always be a priority in my daily life.  You never know when i will leave y'all.

I shop my information on CD's and DVD'due south and they are by and large simply projects. Well I'd like to know those ways :D

That'south bully.

The easiest style to make your HDD "visible" to your laptop is to claw it up to another machine, either by hot plugging information technology into a PC or by using a USB to SATA adapter.

Practise you have or can you get either of those resources?

If so, I'll walk y'all through the procedure.

PS: Bear in heed that your hard drive might be toast, and so it could happen that we'll notice out along the manner that you'll need a new one, but for now, we'll assume information technology's still adept.

BIOHD-viii indicates that the drive is declining or about to fail. You lot need to replace the difficult drive. You tin ostend it by using Seatools for DOS and run a examination on the drive.

http://www.seagate.com/support/downloads/item/seatools-dos-primary/

If Seatools for DOS does not detect your drive, y'all should change AHCI mode to IDE fashion in BIOS.
